Transition from childhood to adult

What is the difference between childhood and adulthood. The minor difference lies in the words.
Adult :I am responsible for what i do
Child: I am not responsible for what i do

The subtle difference lies in a "Not" a three letter word that makes a world of a difference...

It is not necessary that if you are old and at later stages of life you cannot behave like a child.
Many times we behave like small children and don't realize that we are doing so.

This brings in a level of irrationality in our behaviour and transits us to a level of emotional behaviour that doesnot appeal to reason...

The difference between a child and adult is
  • A child thinks emotionally not bothered about the consequences of his actions
  • An adult behaves rationally carefully weighing his/her footsteps
  • A child uses emotions as a shield to run away from problems
  • An adult uses his logical mindset to solve problems
Thus these are the two major differences how a child and an adult behave. However, they make a considerable difference when dealing with situations.

Its always advisable to use the child or adult mode as and when suitable....But don't use the wrong mode at the wrong time as it can lead to blunders...
